About this Cook
DH and I were married in May 2007. I'm taking care of the home and the cooking, and hopefully before too long we'll have some little ones to take care of as well!
My favorite things to cook
I hadn't attempted much serious cooking until DH and I were married. I have always loved to bake, though I have done relatively little. My earliest attempts included baking white bread to sell at farmer's markets when I was 16, and I still like to make that. I'm enjoying trying many new things now.

Italian Roast Beef I
Very tasty. A nice change from other relatively bland roast beef recipes. I did have a prob. w/ the cook time, however; I took the meat out 1 hr. early, & it was still *very* well done. Will have to watch it more closely next time!

Tasty Green Bean Casserole
Loved this! I don't usually care for green bean casserole, but this was great! I didn't use bacon (though it would probably be good w/), and I added a bit of Tabasco sauce.

Zippy Ground Beef Skillet
Very good! I used more green pepper & onion than called for & added garlic. Next time I would eliminate the honey.
