About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Breakfast-Soy Chorizo with Eggs, Lunch-Soups, Dinner-Chicken Dishes and Pastas, And nothing is better than a Cake for Dessert...Carrot or Chocolate?
My favorite family cooking traditions
Italian families and our Pasta!!! Sauce that simmers for days...
My cooking triumphs
When my italian grandmother told me I should bottle and sell my sauce was a wonderful day... When people request my Ziti or chocolate cake for their birthday..
My cooking tragedies
I made the worlds worst roast about 30 years ago (it was my first and I got distracted), that memory can humble me for sure...

Caramel Apple Dip
Soooooo easy!! Absolutely yummy! Made it for a small party and it was a big hit!! Secret for serving apple chunks, after cutting them up, put them in a bowl of cold water and lemon juice for a few seconds before putting them out on a platter or in a bowl-they didnt turn brown all evening (grapefruit worked when I was out of lemon!)

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
I made this for dinner tonite, and miscalculated - making too many fillets, however, it is GONE! My daughter who didn't even want to try it because "Fish is disgusting!" even had seconds once I got her to try it! I'll definitely be making this one again!
