About this Cook
I live in St. Louis, MO and have a wonderful husband with 3 beautiful children. I stay at home with them and am trying to teach all of them good, easy things to cook. If I could go back to before I had children, I would have gone to cooking school. I just didn't realize how much I really liked it until it was too late.
My favorite things to cook
Italian! It is my goal to learn everything I can from my grandmother before she is gone. My husband is a big meat and potatoes kind of guy, so anything with that is also good.
My cooking triumphs
I made my first turkey dinner a few months ago and it turned out fantastic. It was very exciting!

Easy Mexican Casserole
This was really good. I did use the taco seasoning on the meat as others suggested, and it turned out great. However, I think I will omit the chips on the bottom and serve this as a dip. Probably the best mexican dip ever!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II
This was absolutely fantastic. I used Provel cheese (if you life in St. Louis) or provolone is close and pastrami in half because my husband hates ham. Both the ham and pastrami were great. I followed the recipe almost exactly adding a bit extra salt and pepper to chicken so not too bland. Awesome recipe. I rarely give a recipe 5 stars, but this is well worth it.
