About this Cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandma taught me how to cook using a fry method, basically she fried everything. My mom taught me how to cook using the baking method and the slow cooking method. I have since developed a combination of both. Some things just taste better if you fry it. Of course when I fry I use coconut oil since it's healthier than the other oils out there. It also taste better that way because you don't taste the oil, you taste the food. My mom is great about answering questions that I have about different methods of cooking. I tend to like recipes that call for a little more expertise than the average cook has. I then melt it down into an easy to make recipe.

Best Brownies
I liked these but there were extremely rich/heavy. My mom could only eat a very small piece. My dad managed to finish his but that's because he likes his sweets. My husband calls these my pound cake brownies.

Carrot Cake III
My husband loves this. The only thing I did different was left the nuts out cuz he doesn't like nuts in his carrot cake.
