About this Cook
I've really started to experiment in cooking in the past year since my son was born. I stay home with him and while he's napping I look for new recipes. Now that I live in Europe, I've learned how to cook traditional Maltese food and how to blend it with my American style. I'm currently experimenting with Italian food.
My favorite things to cook
Eggplant Parmasan Suffed Artichokes Any type of finger food Risotto Baked chicken and meat dishes Grilled fish
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up eating German and Czech food. I've convinced my Maltese husband that German food really is good.
My cooking triumphs
Cooking well enough to impress our Maltese friends and family.
My cooking tragedies
Anytime I make something my husband doesn't like. Since I can't get the same things available in the US, it is sometimes difficult to make everything I'd like to try.

Proper English Cottage Pie
What a great recipe! I did add worcestershire and omitted the pie crust. My family loved it.

Unbelievable Rolls
These were the best rolls ever! Really worth all the work. I found the baking time was longer than stated though

Molly's Chicken
Great chicken. I made it in the oven and it still turned out great. I did add more sugar, used ketsup instead of tomato sauce. I also added worcestershire and tabasco for some kick.
