About this Cook
I am an emergency room nurse (since 2002). I have a 2 and a 4 year old (boy and girl). My husband is a city firefighter. We love to go camping, we love to host parties, and we love to go to the movies. We are all very happy!
My favorite things to cook
Cheesecakes (any kind!) are my favorite! Other than that, I will cook just about anything with a bunch of good reviews.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I host a mega Halloween party every year with spooky treats and horrific alcoholic beverages-my witches brew disappears first.
My cooking triumphs
I have no major triumphs. I get complimented frequently though.

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken
You can use this for baking any kind of meat basically. My main suggestion is to put it on a wire rack over a pan covered with foil, turn throughout cooking process (about 2-4 times) until all areas are browned, and it is perfect-just like fried chicken without all the oil. I have used this to make chicken strips and most recently with drumsticks. Excellent.

Super Fast and Easy Chicken a la King
Okay, this is great! I used leftover turkey from Thanksgiving (soooo good) and substituted broccoli for the veggies and cream of chicken for the soup-I do not like mushrooms. It was so good that I will make it again and again and again!

Tamale Pie I
Very mushy...the first bite was okay, the second bite made me full. I will not make this again.
