About this Cook
I grew up with 2 cultures in my home, Japanese and American. I enjoy food, and I love to cook as my hobby. Recently I've been trying to cook more healthy.
My favorite things to cook
The turkey at Thanksgiving. Chili, baked goods, Japanese food, Southern food, anything really.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love that cookouts and big dinners are mixed in terms of food. We don't just do potato salad, greens and cornbread but we do sushi and japanese noodle salad. To me those have become normal cookout foods.
My cooking triumphs
Turkey at Thanksgiving. We have 4 familes including mine at out house, so we get a big turkey. It always comes out moist and full of flavor and it's talked about until Christmas.
My cooking tragedies
I was making fresh ramen and because I was multitasking drained it but left it in the pot. The noodles were nasty.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream
This has become a staple in my kitchen, and now in my moms. Everyone always asks me for this recipe and asks me to bring it to every potluck. 5 stars!

Best Lemonade Ever
This is an excellent recipe. I can only imagin what it would taste like if i used fresh lemons! i used the lemon juice in a bottle cut the sugar a bit. I was in a hurry to have some so i added 2 cups of cold water to the simple syrup to cool it down then combined the rest of the ingredients in the pitcher. i poured it over ice and it was ready in 10minutes. Delicious!
