This is a great recipe. I would suggest that you mix the flour and the sugar together VERY well before adding it to the sauce pan (this helps it to set). Also, when I made it, I didn't stop stirring until about two minutes after it was boiling. This made for a very smooth texture. One last thing, I added 2 tsp of vanilla instead of just one. Beautiful pie. Thanks!

This was the best german potato salad I have ever had!! it was super easy too. I took the advice of others and used less potatoes but kept everything else the same. Thanks for the great recipe!!

It was good...I halved the liquids and put the scallops under the broiler, but they still were not crisp. I added Cayenne pepper and crushed red pepper in the breading, which tasted great. I just was not very fond of the texture. I was hoping that it would have been crispier...good recipe though :-)
