My cooking triumphs
I conquered my fear of yeast breads thanks to Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day by Hertzberg/Francios. Now I made it often without even worrying about that dreaded yeast. Crepes - something else I was afraid to try because they seem so delicate. Try the Dessert Crepes recipe here, it's great and so easy!

Yummy Quiche
I used a store bought deep dish pie crust. Reduced cream to 1 1/3 cups, which filled it to the brim but didn't overflow. Also used green onions instead of regular (for color), and eliminated the green chilies (don't care for them). Took to a potluck and got several compliments. So easy and delicious.

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi
We were not crazy about this on the Mahi Mahi, and in fact didn't use the extra sauce at all because it was too overpowering, yet the fish was too strong also. But we tried the sauce with chicken and it was great! Will use this again with chicken probably, and maybe through in some grilled pineapple, too.

Chicken and Red Wine Sauce
I followed this recipe exactly, and I think it has potential with some changes. As is, it was very sweet, and lacked flavor. It didn't even taste like wine sauce. I'd agree with other reviewers and reduce the sugar, and add some onions and thicken the sauce with corn starch next time.
