I am a busy woman but I like to cook. It is extremely relaxing to me. Comfort foods that I grew up with like a pot of pinto beans, calabasita, and Mexican rice, new and exotic recipes, and desserts! My mother is a Southern Belle who learned to cook for her Mexican husband back in the 60s, so she make some mean fried chicken and chorizo tacos. I haven't burned the house down and the majority of the meals are edible -- triumph enough.
