Being a soldier's wife and a mother of 3 keeps me super busy so quick & easy meals tend to dominate my weekdays. Weekends are when I do my real work in the kitchen (if you can really call it work). I love to experiment. My testing subjects (my husband & kids) haven't killed over yet so I must be doing something right! I'm on a baking craze right now! I'd love to learn how to perfect pastries. Growing up, Sunday was the day everyone got together for a family meal. It wasn't always organized. Sometimes my aunt would call my mom and say "Hey, what are ya'll hav'in". My mom's reply would be something like, "I dunno, what do ya'll have a taste for?" Whatever we had we had it together. The big Sunday dinner w/ family is a must.
