These are devine - first shortbread I could get to work - I made mine with whole wheat flour.

WOW Mum you made something that's not a rock is the comment I got from this recipe and kids (older teens) are hanging out for another one, Mum please just one more like sever addicts. I did not have molasses so used 2T honey and a large dash of maple syrup. and I added 1t crushed ginger to it too, just coz I am a ginger addict.

This is the recipe my Mum used to make as I remember it/ Very yummy summer drink. THo my Mum always said when you make a new bug you feed it for two weeks - when you get half of someone elses bug or using half of your last bug you only need feed it for a week.
