These cookies were so good. Very soft and so easy to make. LOVED them!

This chili was very good. I added more chili powder than called for, and the addition of about a 1/8 cup hot sauce. The spice level was perfect. Good when served with a light beer. I also made cornbread, a suprisingly nice combo. Also, I usually do not go for the veggie crumbles (when I have added them to other dishes- such as manicotti, they seem to alter the overall flavor and detract from the dish). They were great in this chili, and like other reviewers have said, I think most meat eaters would be fooled by the addition of these crumbles. Overall, very hearty, thick (but not too thick) and just very good.

Very simple and fast recipe. I cooked the chicken in 400 degree oven for about 3-4 minutes before dredging it, and then cooking it in the skillet. In the skillet, 5 minutes on each side was perfect, so you may want to cook it just a bit through before hand (you don't want the batter to burn...which I think would have happened if I left it in the skillet any longer). I found that a bit more garlic would be welcome, as the flavor was subtle. Also, I did not have any paprika. It was okay without it, but I think the additonal spice would be welcome.
