This was the pie of choice for our New Year's Day gettogether and it isn't going to make it to the party! I made this yesterday AM (New Year's Eve), allowing a little more cornstarch and milk to make enough to fill a deep dish pie crust, topped it with meringue and there is one tiny slice left in the fridge. Texture was creamy, chocolatey rich and as noted by another reviewer, it "presented" well as it didn't fall apart from the pie plate to the dessert plate! There's just something totally unappetizing about a pie that ends up as a glob on your plate. This is a lovely pie and one I'd be happy to serve at any occasion, or for no occasion at all! Delicious.
