About this Cook
Im a gypsy. I love exploring our beautiful country. There are wonderful experiences everywhere you go; natural, cultural, spiritual... I am grateful for my kitchen. Thank you Lord for all things.
My favorite things to cook
I am determined to master easy asian recipes. I can finally slow cook rice. Try Royal Basmati. Its rich and flavorful.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I was brought up with Italian, Polish, and Dutch. My mom is the best! I'm 27 an I still call her to ask how long to cook the chicken!
My cooking triumphs
I havn't killed anyone.
My cooking tragedies
I guess saurkraut is an aquired taste.

Crab Quiche
Great recipe! Forgot to buy green onions (whoops) So I used bacon for extra flavor. Um...Awsome!!!For those of you who need more flavor, crumble up about a 1/4 lb of cooked bacon, mix in before baking and disregard the added fat content. I couldn't finish my first piece (too rich!) but my hubby ate half the pie in one sitting!!

Elk Chili
This recipe made a great base for my own concoction. I sauteed the elk and onions in olive oil and 1/4c brown sugar. Then used the crock pot to slow cook while the family was out skiing. Added corn, mushrooms and black beans...yum! It was a very nice dinner to come home to...Don't forget the shredded cheese and garlic bread!
