I am marries to a wonderful woman and have 2 daughters and 1 grand daughter. My mother always allowed us to experiment in the kitchen. We had a wide variety of food and a large family so I learned to enjoy time spent at the table. The one exception to my likes is okra! I'm now retired and appreciate spending extra time in the kitchen. I love a good chili or a (not overcooked) chicken dish. I love to experiment with new concoctions of my own. We all band together on the holidays. Each brining the dish they are most proud of and exchange recipes. Chicken a la chucky: It came about when I didn't have all the ingredients of the recipes I wanted to try so I mixed and matched ingredents. It's a lovely dish cooked in a skillet with a great wine and veggie sauce. Oh! I don't even like to think about these. Once in a while what sounds good can end up in the garbage.
