Sweet Corn Tomalito
These came out awesome - just like Chevy's. It was very hard to find the masa harina - finally found it in a Mexican grocery store in Coney Island.. I baked in the oven in a water bath at 350.. only problem was I used the corning casserole dish with glass top and I dont think the top was tight enough..next time i'll wrap it tightly in foil. it was a little drier than expected and I think that is why, because the steam was escaping. These were soooooo good though.. next time I'll use a little less whole corn, just my preference though. Thanks for this great recipe!!

Nectarine Pie
I love nectarines so was so excited when I saw this recipe. I made a crumb topping for it and baked it about 55 minutes. It was still jiggly in the middle, but as it cooled came together (like the way cheesecake does). It was pretty good, a little too creamy for a fruit pie for me. I think next time I will make a top crust and perhaps using something instead of heavy cream? Needs a little tweaking but overall a great pie. Thanks for the recipe.
