Blueberry Banana Bread
OK...usually I hate it when people rate a recipe without making the original recipe, but I'm going to be one of those people! This got 5 stars for being a good basic recipe. I also give it 5 stars with these changes: Half whole wheat flour, half all purpose flour. Half white sugar, half brown sugar. Used Butter Flavored Shortening and added 1 tsp of ground cinnamon. This made 2 loaves. I baked at 350 for 35 minutes and then lowered the temp to 325 and baked for another 10 minutes. It came out perfect! Usually when I make quick breads, they have a tendency of coming out crisp on the outside but still gooey on the inside. I think lowering the temp at the end really helped if anyone else has that problem!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.
OK, first off, being tired and having pregnancy brain does not combine well when baking. Instead of setting my oven to bake, I accidentally set it to BROIL. Oops. Despite this mishap, the cupcakes actually turned out surprisingly well. I tried one cupcake where the cookie dough had cooked through, it was a little too sweet for my tastes, but my coworkers really liked them (cooked cookie and cookie dough kinds). I used a different Choc. Chip Cookie recipe from this site, but I did use yellow cake mix and put a cream cheese frosting on top.

Banana Nut Bread II
I just received my bread machine (Black & Decker All in One Model B2200) as a wedding gift. And I LOVE it. I think this will be the way I make breads from now on. =)I've always made banana bread in the oven and they've never turned out right (burnt outside, gooey middle). I just threw everything into the bread machine (liquids, then dry ingredients). I did beat the eggs and mashed 2 bananas before adding it to the mix. And added a tsp of cinnamon and omitted the nuts since I didn't have any. I didn't have to grease the bread pan either. Used the Quick Bread mode. It came out perfect. Nice golden crust. Moist center, not gooey. And the flavor was good. I think I'll vanilla extract to it next time.
