i have tried this 3 times and each time once the sugar mixture hardens it turns into a sugary mess. the taste when its hot is to die for. if you are a newer cook like me and have a difficulty with hard/soft boil stages i would recommend trying this recipe prior to when you want to serve them. as they have proven non dependable on 3 occasions for me.

i personally did not like these cookies but everyone else loved them! there was just nothing outstanding about these cookies. like others i was expecting a wow factor given the 5*'s. just your average oatmeal cookie.

per peoples suggestions i added a dash of vanilla a bit more sugar and about 1/2tsp less of baking powder and they were terrific. these pancakes were fluffy and yummy!
