Chicken Papadoris

I made some changes. I used 2 tsp Thai red curry paste and 2 tsp Indian-style curry powder. Everything else I kept the same and served it over Jasmine rice.

Savory Wild Rice Casserole

This was wonderful with ground chicken. As ground chicken can be bland, I added extra spices and seasonings. The family devoured it and only left enough extra for 2 small lunch servings.

Slow Cooker Posole with Pork and Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
This is wonderful. It tastes so much like some of the food I had while in San Antonio, TX. We've had it once as the soup-like serving. I am making a double batch to have some as sandwiches and some in enchiladas with the green sauce. The first time I added the cumin, but this time I am leaving it out. I have also left out the green chilies as I do not personally care for them. Thanks for posting!

Fast and tasty. The only changes I made were to add an eight ounce can of plain tomato sauce and substituting chicken broth for the water.

A delish and filling dish. Just the right amount of spicy. The leftovers will go quickly.

Chicken Paprikash

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
This is the worst Paprikash recipe I've ever laid eyes on. In no way is this anything like true Hungarian Paprikash. There is certainly no sour cream in the hundreds old recipe made by my family. And you must SMOTHER the chicken with tons of onion and more paprika than you think should be in any one dish.

Campbell's® Healthy Request® Cajun Fish

Simple and tasty. I omitted green peppers due to personal preference and used half an onion in its stead. I also threw in a bit of white pepper. Not 5 stars simply because it's very simple and not an experience played out on the tastebuds.

German Currywurst

Not bad. I added a lot more curry to the sauce though, otherwise it only tasted like tomato sauce as I simmered it.

I use something similar to make rivels in my Chicken Corn Rivel Soup. Not bad, went well with Currywurst though to soak up some extra sauce.

Excellent. The entire family loved it. I made 4 packets of gravy since I served it with Semmelknoedel also found on this site. I made no changesadditions. Thanks for posting!

Thai-Style Tilapia

We loved this! It was excellent, with one minor addition. I added 1 Tbsp of Thai Red Curry paste. I also used an entire can of coconut milk because my family likes to have extra sauce for the rice.

Delish. I added more garlic though because you can never have too much garlic. I also added green onions before cooking rather than after.

Slow Cooker Lancaster County Pork and Sauerkraut

I left out the caraway because my PA Dutch gramma doesn't use them. We go with just the pork and kraut served with mashed potatoes. You don't need anything else added for a delish Dutchie meal.

Hamburger, Potato, and Kidney Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
I made several adjustments to the basic recipe. I used only 1 pd of hamburger. I also used 2 cans of condensed tomato soup. I used one huge can of kidney beans and one regular sized can. I melted cheese on top of the casserole toward the last 10 min of the recipe and then used the broiler for 5 min to crisp and brown the cheese. We love garlic, so I put a whole lot of that in there. I threw in a bit of chili powder and ground cayenne pepper as well. Turned out delish.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
Wonderful though I made a few minor changes. I used the called for amount of Cheddar but I shredded my own and made it aged cheddar. I do not care for Swiss, so I used equal parts Asiago and Monterray Jack instead. I also substitued Maple and Brown Sugar breakfast sausage, with casings removed, in the place of bacon. I also left out the cottage cheese because my husband does not like it. I used 4 eggs and 4 egg whites to make it a little more healthy.

Pennsylvania Coal Region Barbecue

Tastes a lot like the BBQ I grew up eating at pool parties and picnics. I only used a 1/2 Tbsp of the vinegar otherwise it is much too much.
