I was green with envy over how well everyone else cooked, and not being one to hop away from a challenge - I decided to learn to cook. No flies in the honey here, I'm learning pretty well :) CAKES! I love cakes! I am also pretty good at quick, filling dinners. I was actually very proud when I learned how to make rice,lol This one time I was making a pound cake and it required beating 8 egg whites to soft peaks. Well, you know me, I have to do EVERYTHING by hand...I get the eggs looking awesome, make up the batter, and go to fold in the whites. Wouldn't you know it? I dropped the whites all over the floor, and was out of eggs. I was not too pleased.
