About this Cook
Hey there everyone! I am a 18yr old Gixtsan aborigonal girl who loves to cook. I live in Prince George but I was raised up north on a reserve called Old Fort Conelly or now called Bear Lake.My grandpa Thomas Patrick is planning on making a Lodge up there & i hope its succsessful.Maybe I will run a big restaraunt up there.I also love animals & have quite a few of them.
My favorite things to cook
My most favorite meal to cook is Lasagne or homemade pancakes with fresh fruit,Topped with whipped cream. My favorite Thing to bake is my Chewy Molasses Cookies or Doughnuts. But you never know I might find somethin on here somewhere. :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our family goes up north to gather fish, meat, birds and berries or other foods and medicens we can find and use from the land.We useually dry Fish or moose meat and last year I just learned how to Jar meat.
My cooking triumphs
My famouse homemade fruit & yogurt Recipies. Also my deliciouse smoothies.
My cooking tragedies
When I was in Home Economics 10,My classmates and I got to choose our own recipies to bake the next day.I chose a sugar cookie recipe and it was origonaly supposed to make 81.I had to divide it down to make only 2 dozen cookies. The next day I started making it and realized that there was still alot of batter left from making 24 cookies. After the two were done I ended up making 15 more cookies!!! I gave quite a few away to my freinds.
