I am a high school teacher and I coach golf, basketball, and softball. I enjoy being outside and have taken up cooking and baking as a new hobby. I love to bake and I enjoy pasta dishes too. I was never allowed in the kitchen! I am completely new to this and look forward to making my own traditions, hopefully with my own children someday. Making my first buttercream fondant! It was delicious and quite an experience. The whole cake took me about 5 hours but it turned out great for my first time; a little greasy, but still tasty. I found the recipe for it here on allrecipes. Burning garlic is never fun- the smell stays in the kitchen for a long time.
