Kale and Banana Smoothie
the recipe itself isn't great. actually, i couldn't bring myself to put in maple syrup so i'm not sure how much better that would have made it. i immediately had to add more almond milk (i don't use soy) and then threw in some yogurt to thicken it up. it tasted flat and too banana so i added 1/2 mango. still wasn't sweet enough so i added 1/2 c. blueberries and 1/2 pack sweetener (i use truvia). then it was tastey enough to enjoy. i didn't taste the kale at all, just like when making smoothie with spinach. it was fresh, organic kale. good to know i can use this green also but the recipe requires tweaking for sure!

Middle Eastern Rice with Black Beans and Chickpeas
this is amazing! didn't have tumeric but i'm not familiar with that spice anyway. apparently it's an important one because Martha Stewart says we should be putting it in everything since it's so good for the body. guess i'll use it the next time i make this. i can't believe i made something so delicious! fresh cilantro is a must! i bet it's gonna taste even better the next day with all those great spices.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II
Wow!!!!!! alot of the reviews say this tastes better 2 days later...it tastes awesome 10 min out of the oven, i can't imagine how good it's gonna get! i used what i had on hand..one pack vanilla pudding & one pack pumpkin spice pudding. threw in some dark chocolate chips and it is beyond delicious!! i wish i would have put more chocolate in it but then again, i'll definately be making this again. i'm sure using any flavor pudding will be equally awesome.
