Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
These bars are easy to make. I pretty much followed the recipe with the exception of using only 1/3 cup brown sugar and it was perfect. I put them in a 11X7 pan and baked them for 30 minutes. They held together well and didn't crumble like other homemade granola bars. I used quick oats but the next time, I will will try them with regular oats. Thanks for the recipe.

Spaghetti Sauce II

Very good sauce but it was too thick and it was going to burn. I had to add 1 can of 28 oz water. I also added 1 teaspoon of salt. Everything else is the same. Thanks.

Ultimate Irresistible Granola

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
Delicious. I added 3 teaspoons of cinnamon, 1 Tablespoon of vanilla, and 1 teaspoon of salt and increased the oats to 6 cups. I kept the oil and honey the same. I had to bake it for 4 minutes though as 20 minutes the granola was still white. Not sure why but I can never make them clump. Anyway, great recipe. Thanks for sharing. good.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
Yummy...I followed the recipe exactly. When the batter looked dry, I was worry but I followed through and I am so happy I did...these are the best brownies, you can't taste the zucchini in it at all. The texture is fudgy, moist, chewy like brownies suppose to be. Wow...and they are not too overly sweet. I didn't do the frosting because I don't like frosting but they are still the best.

This is delish. I used chickpeas since that is all I have. I did not use the bacon and sub it with 1 tablespoon of olive oil instead. Very good and very different.

Carrot Pineapple Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
Excellent cake. Moist, tasty, not too spicy, tender crumb and not greasy. Thank you so much. My favorite carrot cake now. Oh, the only thing I would suggest is only bake it for about 38-40 minutes. 45 minutes was a bit too much for my oven.

How could you not love these cookies. They are buttery, not too sweet and so delicious. Oh, easy to make too. For slightly chewy cookies, bake them at 9 minutes. For crispy cookies, bake them at 10 minutes. Love these.

Grandma's Focaccia: Baraise Style

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
Excellent. I did not use any of the topping except I drizzled some olive oil with some rosemarry then baked it. I just wanted a plain focaccia to make sandwiches out of it. The bread is wonderful tasting. Because of the potatoes, it gives it a chewy and moist texture. The crust is chewy but crispy at the same time. I was able to half the recipe. I love this bread. Thank you for sharing the recipe.

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly and the cake came out too wet. I had to bake it for another 15 minutes. I think it ist he pineapple liquid that the recipe stated undrained. Not sure what else the caused the cake to be wet like that. Also, there are too much stuff in the batter. If you were to try this recipe, cut the raisins, cocounut and walnut to 1/2 cup or 3/4 but not 1 full cup. Anyway, Thanks for the recipe.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
TO DIE FOR!!! Make these rolls. I used AP flour instead of bread flour. The dough is a dream to work with. It only took 3 and 3/4 cup of flour. The result is perfection, lightly crispy on the outside and soft, pillowy and fluffy on the inside. So good!! I can not make these too often or I will eat them all and get fat. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
