This is the second time I have made this recipe. Followed as is (although this time I didn't have yukons on hand and had to sue red potatos). Both time equaled the same results - DELICIOUS! It turns out to be a creamy, filling soup, with lots of subtle flavors that make it a perfect chilly afternoon dish. I paired it with some homemade cheddar biscuits (liek red lobsters makes). Perfect as a meal all by itself!

Have seen that there are a lot of good reviews.. and a few that say I should have added more flavor in the recipe. This dish is a dish to highlight the beans and spinach flavor, and most importantly the very best extra virgin olive oil. It's a tapas food (bar food) so suppose to be paired with a good beer for light mellow flavor. As others have suggested you can add seasonings of your choice, or even crushed red pepper to spice up the dish, if it comes out too dry I recommended adding a bit more high quality olive oil, again depends on water content of beans and spinach - which can very everytime you make this dish. I really appreciate everyone's comments and suggestions to make this dish the best possible for each person individual tastes. And with any recipe, it's best to make it your own! ;)

This was very good, our supermarket was out of clams, so had to use mussels as a replacement, but nevertheless the sauce and cooking method worked well for those shellfish as well. thanks for sharing this recipe.

This was terrific. I made it as is. Would be great for the kids too as a dipping sauce for chicken nuggets. My 6 year old couldn't get enough of this dressing. Thanks for sharing :)

I made quiet a few adjustments, adding sausage, more egg, a bit of sesame oil, and some other things... and it was delicious... But truly I think it would have been just as good without all my changes too! Thanks for sharing! edit: just wanted to add that I again made these eggs rolls, and some crab rangoon for a get together this weekend, and everyone RAVED about these egg rolls, said my husband and I should go into business making these and selling them! Someone else said that they could not go back to a chinese restaurant and eat egg rolls after having ours!! Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe!! Not sure if I had enough liquid in the crumbs/mixture and the batter seemed to come apart slightly while I was frying the patties... but regardless of that - these were so tasty! Thanks for shaaring!

I ended up putting this atop some crusty bread and it was delish!! It was like a light sandwich - and was filling enough to pass as dinner. My husband and 6 year old fought over the last few bites! Very good - thanks for sharing!

These were very good. I reduced potatoes a bit - but otherwise this was really tasty. Not the best I've had - but pretty darn good. I'd make it again :)

This was very good. I did end up adding some extra milk towards the end. I gave it 4 stars only because I didn't like the topping much - and my husband seemed to inhale the bread crums and startign coughing - lol - whops! I might add some butter or cheese over top of it next time, so that it doens't remain so powdery on top. Otherwise flavors were delish! Thanks for sharing!

Totally Tasty! I cut down the recipe to serve my husband, me and our 5 year old boy. Everyone loved it! 5 year old thought sausage was too spicy - but we expected that - he gobbled up everything else - and thought it was an awesome dinner cuz he could use his hands! Mu hubby and I also agreed it was very tasty - just like the shrimp boils my dad does on special occassions! Thanks for sharing!

This was super tasty! I have tried many different ways to cook/grill salmon.. and have to say this is the best to date. My husband - who usually doesn't like salmon, gobbled it up - as did my five year old and of course me! It was sweet.. but not too sweet.. and had a great crust over the very edges of the fish.. and to top it off the color after you cook it makes it LOOK as amazing as it tasted.. I made no changes to the recipe. thanks for sharing it! It's a new family favorite :)

These taste like pinwheels I've had at a lot of parties. Simple and tasty. Great as a light lunch or snack. My five year old, thought they were a little spicy, even without the onions (I'm guessing he tasted teh garlic)... but he did eat half of one anyhow - so I don't think it bothered him too much. I gave four stars because it wasn't very unique - but it was very tasty.

omg! this was so tasty. I live in a small town and wasn't able to find steak tips, so I substituted stir fry meat (go figure they had that and not steak tips). It came out perfect and everyone, even my five year old loved it. :) great with bread!

This was a great recipe! We cut up a whole chicken. We used the thighs, wings and drummies with the skin on and skin off for the breast pieces (to satisfy my five year old)- both were equally tasty after being grilled! A nice light beer flavor, with a hint of lime and cilantro - nothing overpowering so it would go well with almost any side dish.

This was great with our local farmer's market tomatoes... it was even better then next day on top of some fresh spinach. Thanks for the great recipe! Light, flavorful and delish!

Made this last night for my family - they all enjoyed it.. even my picky 5-year old. Was easy to make, tasted light and fresh.. but it was very filling! Great with crunchy bread. We'll be making it again, my husband suggested that next time we add sundried tomatoes... so I think we may try it that way.. but this recipe is wonderful as is! Thanks for sharing!

Made this recipe last night. The flavors were fantastic - but it was EXTREMELY dry. Once you add the bread crumbs there is no sauce left. It is basically flavored bread crumbs that you add to the cooked pasta. I recommend adding more olive oil and/or water from the boiled pasta into the breadcrumbs. Like someone else, I also added red pepper flakes to spice it up a bit.
