I didn't even know you could make cake with a sourdough starter until this recipe! This turned out good. I did follow others advice and added a small package of chocolate pudding. This was plenty chocolaty for us and did not see dry. I topped it with cream cheese frosting and that made it almost perfect! I will make this again. Thanks for sharing!

I thought this was great! I've never had a sourdough bread before so I really don't have much to compare to, but I will definately make this again. This time I didn't use the egg wash and the chopped onions (hubby doesn't like bread with the onions cooked on it) but next time I will make one for him and I will use the egg/onions on mine! This was excellent! The only thing I did differently is I made my own pound cake instead of using frozen store bought. Soooo good! Made this for Memorial Day and it was a huge hit at the BBQ. I will be making this again!

I made this for our Memorial Day BBQ. It was good, but I had to tweak it a little to suit our tastes. I added a little mustard and used less eggs than called for. This was good though with those alterations (the only reason I gave 4* instead of 5*). I will be making this again. Thanks!

This definately will become a common item in my house! These are fantastic. I agree they are more cake than bar, but all the same still yummy! I didn't use canned frosting, I made my own cream cheese frosting from here and turned out great. Froze 1/2 of the pan (did use a jelly roll pan) cause it made much more than we could've eaten before they went bad! Thanks for sharing this great recipe!!

This sauce is really good. I would give it 5 stars except I personally think it would be better with the shredded parmesan cheese rather than the grated. It did not melt all that well, but still tasted good. I did add some mushrooms and some diced chicken and it is delicious! Will make again!

Not that this needs another great review, but I have to share! These are fantastic! My dough used almost 6cups flour before it didn't stick to the bowl, but it turned out fine! I used the satiny chocolate glaze for the chocolate ones and rolled some of the doughnut holes in cinn/sugar mix. I will not be going to Krispy Creme anymore!!! This is a little time consuming, but well worth the effort!!! Thank you for the wonderful recipe!!! P.S. I do not have a deep fryer so I used my iron skillet with about 2" of oil in it. Preheat the oil in it on med/high heat about 5 min. Then when you start cooking drop down to med. Watch these carefully they will brown quickly. (I got a few overbrowned)

Wow, what a great bread! This turned out absolutely wonderful! I too think it may be a little too sweet for most sammies, but my kids are loving the pb&j on it! It also tastes great all by itself! Thanks for the great recipe, I will definately make this again! *UPDATE* I have been making this so much and I have found that using only 1/3 cup sugar makes it perfect sandwich bread! Love this bread!

This recipe is so great! I did scale it down to make 1 loaf cause I wasn't sure if I would like it or not because I am not a fan of wheat bread. But now I wish I would've made all 3 loaves, it is so delicious!!! The loaf I made is almost gone already! I will definately make this again! I'm giving these 4 stars because the taste is great, but a little more work than I like to do all the time for a cookie! I did use white chips in the chocolate side of the cookie and increased the oven temp to 350 and they turned out much better! I will make these again, just not an everyday cookie for me! Thanks for the great recipe though!

I loved with this! I did make a few changes, I used 2 eggs and 3/4c. milk. I did have a problem with the crumb topping, but that is been with any recipe that I have to do one of those so not this recipes fault. I will definately make this again! Thanks!

These are good muffins with a few changes. Since other reviewers said that there wasn't enough peanut butter and banana flavor, I used about 3/4 cup of each instead. They turned out great for me. But since I did make the changes that is the reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. Thanks for the recipe~

These are really good. I took wifeyluvs2cook's advice and froze them for future use for kids breakfast, cause I'm not a morning cooker! Kids loved them! Thanks for the great recipe! We will definately be making these from now on!

These are sooo yummy! This recipe is very versitile. I did not use the raisens, but I did add about 3/4 c. peanut butter chips and the same amount of chocolate. Very good recipe, will definately make these again trying different combinations!!! Thanks for the recipe!

These are so good! My family loves Mamwich brand, but now we will never buy it again!!! I followed the recipe exactly, except for doubling it. I also used homemade buns from this site too. Thanks for sharing! We will definately be eating this one again!

These muffins are very good. The only problem I had with them was the crumb topping, it just seemed to melt and make a mess. But that could've been something I did wrong, but they still tasted great. I did replace the melted butter with oil per other reviews. While these didn't turn out all that "pretty" they still taste wonderful and will definately make these again, maybe trying something different for the crumb mixture! Thanks for the recipe!

I used this for my DS frog birthday cake and it turned out wonderful! It is a little sweet tasting, but I think that's the way it is supposed to be. Great for decorating and very easy to whip up! Thanks for the great recipe!
