About this Cook
I'm a stay at home mom with a two year old boy who has an amazing sense of taste, he'll try anything. I enjoy getting him into the kitchen to help me and we have a great time making yummy dishes for Daddy.
My favorite things to cook
We eat a lot of stif-frys, steak and meatloaves and I found ton's of great recipies here.

Christmas Orange Rind Cut-Out Cookies
I didn't have any oranges to zest so instead I used 2 Tbsp orange marmalade and I only had pecans so I ground them up with sugar and a bit of cinnamon and put that on top and they were incredible. The sour cream makes them super moist, but the other reviewer was right this is a drop cookie rather than a cut out because the batter is really sticky. I thought it was a great tasting treat though, thumbs up!

Ginger Butter Cookies
I cooked these cookies at 375 for about 18 minutes to make them a little more crisper, if you like them chewy 12-15 should do it. They're a nice cookie with tea or milk since they are quite dry and they're milder than a ginger snap if you don't like the strong taste ginger snaps usually have. Kids would enjoy them because they're so mild, its a nice autum cookie.

Stuffed Meat Loaf
This was a really good meatloaf. I felt like the meat mixture would be a little bland with just the ketchup, salt and pepper so I added some oregano, garlic and a pinch of chili peppers but you could easily add any of your favorite spices. I also added some fried bacon to the stuffing mix just for something different, it turned out great. I found that the recipie also made enough for two meatloaves since you end up filling a lot of the pan with stuffing.
