As most people on this site, I love to cook. I am also an avid outdoorswoman and love to fish, camp, hike, geocash, fourwheel, etc. I have the most wonderful boyfriend who I make test-try all my new recipies, but he hasn't complained...so far!! I really like trying new things with meat and pasta. I am a spurr of the moment type of cook and end up throwing in anything I think will taste good. I also never measure things...heehee. I've only had a couple mess ups so far so I guess I am doing pretty good. Hmmmmm....? My boyfriend and I made a full chicken the night before Thanksgiving 2007. We used a blend of spices that I got off this site and threw in a few things of our own. My boyfriend then had the brilliant idea of injecting it with apple cider/spice mix as it was cooking instead of basting it, and it turned out AMAZING! We ate just about every bit of the bird that night. The first time I made a homemade pie I think that I forgot to add crisco or something in the crust because when I tried to cut it it was so hard I could have pounded nails with it! The filling turned out really good though.
