Spicy Slow Cooker Mac-n-Cheese

I made this without the meat and it came out delicious. The pasta was definitely overcooked, but not in a particularly bad way. The sauce was very cheesy and thick.

Baked Ham with Maple Glaze

I changed this recipe fairly dramatically, but it came out delicious. I used maple syrup, Wild Turkey, and yellow mustard. Served it for Christmas Eve dinner and it was a success.

Crab and Pea Salad

I threw this receipe together quickly as a way to use up some crab meat (I had purchased twice as much as I needed for a different recipe). I served in on the side wasn't sure if anyone would even eat it. It ended up being the most popular dish of the night, and I was printing off copies of the recipe for everyone. Very simple and very good.

Blueberry Loaf Cake

I've made this cake twice now. Once exactly according to the recipe, and once substituting cranberries with a little extra sugar. The first time I baked for 55 minutes and the cake was extremely undercooked in the center. The second time I baked it for almost 80 minutes, and it sill came out slightly undercooked. I'm at sea level, so that's not the problem. I think the recipe just needs to go into a flatter cake pan instead of a loaf. All that aside, it tastes very good, even the raw parts.

Cocoa Oatmeal Cookies

Good cookies. The only change I made to the recipe was to soak the raisins in the egg and vanilla mixture for about 30 minutes. I'm not exactly sure if that makes any difference, but I'm used to doing that for oatmeal raisin cookies.

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

I followed the recipe exactly, even though I was a bit shocked by the amount of honey that was called for. The end result was very tasty, but the sauce definitely began to burn. Not sure how to avoid that in the future...if i should just add the sauce later, or cover the pan?

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

Very tasty muffins. I left out the nuts and added a little vanilla, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. They did not rise quite as much as I was expecting, and I was left with smaller muffins than I was hoping for. Next time I will fill the muffin pan more.
