Not much to say really. I'm a Mom to two wonderful little boys and I've been cooking since I was high enough to reach the stove.
A few of my things won awards at county fairs and the like but mostly I cook just because I enjoy it and love feeding and taking care of others.
My favorite things to cook
I love experimenting. I take what I have on hand and go with it and 9 times out of 10, it comes out great.
Currently I'm in a peppers/onions/tomatoes phase and adding them to everything except dessert.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Getting up early and cooking with my Mom on Thanksgiving.
My cooking triumphs
I'm currently planning a full 6 course authentic Italian dinner party.

My cooking tragedies
I am notoriously horrible with remembering breads in the oven. If I'm in the middle of cooking, I usually boot everyone out of the kitchen and will be making salad, dinner, dessert, etc., all at the same time and I constantly forget when I have breads in the oven so they end up a bit too dark. Unless I'm specifically in the kitchen to bake a few loaves of bread, chances are that I'm gonna burn it.
