I've always been what the South calls a "healthy" girl-- there's definitely more to me than skin and bones! I grew up as the middle child with my two sisters under Mama's roof-- 'As long as you live here, you live by my rules, and you eat what I put in front of you!' Our fiery household has accumlated more than its fair share of memories over the years, and now that my sisters and I are grown and settling into our own lifestyles, we're laughing more and more over the little moments that have made our life so grand. I'm a family-first kinda gal; an extrovert with many acquaintences and a few special friends; an animal lover; a reader and sometimes author, an fan of live music; a student of life, and a born entertainer-- hospitality is in my blood! I love to cook, to eat, to drink with friends, and to relax in the beauty and charm of the daily treasures that surround us. Southern dishes from my grandmothers' generation, tweaked by my own imagination; Anything & Everything Italian-- often given a little Southern kick; Seafood-- especially when I can give it that Mediterranean love.
