The Old Boy's Strawberry Pie

I didn't feel like going to the trouble of making the crumb topping so I just used a deep dish pet ritz on the top sprinkled with sugar. I put small chunks of butter on inside and out...wonderful!!!

Butter-Dipped Biscuit Squares

Very simple, very delicious. I made mine with 1/2 the sugar and sprinkled garlic salt and italian seasonings on 1/2 of them to go with spaghetti. They were all great and only lasted that night.

Probably the best soup I've ever made. My husband loved it--That's always a plus! I didn't have any wine, so I just substituted with extra chicken broth. Came out excellent

Very simple and quick recipe. Make sure you season it well. If you have any dairy adverse eaters, you might want to use less milk--will be just as good. This tastes even better a day or so later.

Grandma's Sour Cream Pound Cake

Excellent! I've tried another pound cake recipe from here, and this is by far the best. It really has that "fresh from grandma's" taste. I only had 1 cup of butter (actually olive oil spread) in the fridge, so that's what I used. Also, I had no mace, so just added a touch of cinnamon. It came out moist and delicious.

Easy Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

The cake was good, but definitely is not a traditional pound cake. It was more like a boxed cake. The cake was extremely moist and a bit gooey even after an hour baking at 335 degrees.

Homesteader Cornbread

Very very good...so sweet I ate it for dessert. I might reduce the sugar next time and switch the flour measurements for the cornmeal measurements so it's more like cornbread and less like cake. However, I might not change anything. It's great as is.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Very very good usually. The thing about chocolate chip cookies is that sometimes they come out excellent, and sometimes only ok. My husband sometimes complains that they're salty although I don't add any salt...not sure what the problem is, but, like I said, sometimes they come out perfect

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

This pie is absolutely amazing!!! My husband loves it and requests it every couple of weeks. It doesn't need quite as many apples as it says though.
