About this Cook
I am a mom to three little boys and they keep me busy! I have been baking my own treats since high school many years ago, and spent much time in the kitchen with my parents learning how to cook.
My favorite things to cook
I've got my tried and true recipes that the boys like, but it's also fun to get experimental and put different ingredients together to see what I come up with.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I like to bake cookies and other desserts with my kids. My middle son has loved to cook or pretend to cook since he was a toddler. Now he wants to help me in the kitchen so he can have his own restaurant someday. I like cooking meals for special occasions.

Mrs. Strong's Casserole
This really does taste like lasagna and I love it! I didn't have meat on hand but it still turned out very well. Next time I will use the beef though to see how much more filling it would be. My kids tried it and liked it and I will certainly make this one again. Thanks!

Fruit Pizza II
This recipe is wonderful! I didn't have time to chill the pizza before taking it to a meeting and it was still a great hit. The glaze really does add the right touch. I used strawberries, bananas and apples since that's what my kids eat best. I didn't have orange juice to make the glaze, so I used apple juice instead and it turned out very well (we sampled the glaze several times- yum!). This is definitely a recipe I will make again and again. Thank you!

Cream Cheese Corn Bake
This turned out very good- my son and I enjoyed it very much. I used a mexican corn blend with onions, peppers and spices and it was very tasty. I will definitely make this recipe again. Thanks!
