I'm married with two kids, ages 19 and 22, still living at home. I work full-time as a paralegal, so my slow cooker is my friend! I enjoy cooking, EXCEPT when I feel rushed in it, which is most of the time. Coming home to 3 people immediately asking "what's for dinner" stresses me out. But I'm learning the art of pre-planning my menus so the stress level is lessened. Casseroles. So easy! And anything in the slow cooker. I also do grilled pork chops pretty good. My mother didn't have us in the kitchen with her much. Basically, it was southern cooking, everything was fried and had gravy on it, and there was enough of it to feed an army. It's taken a long time to un-learn all of that! That I cook at all is a triumph! Sometimes, that I cook at all is a tragedy. LOL!
