Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I used 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, and I cooked it in the slow cooker on low for 6 hours. I recommend using a good barbeque sauce, not the cheapest one you can buy, it will make a difference. The amount of sauce compared to chicken was absolutely perfect! This was soooo delicious. I served this over a baked potato, but next time will be using fresh baked rolls for a great sandwich! Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
Absolutely delicious. I used McIntosh Apples, and I used 5 large apples and than followed the rest of the recipe exactly, and it turned out perfect! I made this for Thanksgiving and I had no leftovers to take home!

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
This was a pretty good soup and very easy to make. My only complaint was that it was a little too cheesy. The velveeta cheese seemed to overpower all of the other flavors.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
I made this for Thanksgiving for my in-laws. Everyone really enjoyed but myself. I thought it turned out way too runny (I followed the directions exactly). It was very sweet, but everyone liked that. If it would have been firmer, I probably would have enjoyed it more.

Campbell's® Tuna Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
This was a very easy recipe to make. My husband enjoyed the tuna noodle casserole, but I have tasted much better. For me it tasted like a cheap version of tuna noodle casserole. The campbell's mushroom soup was too overwhelming. Also, I thought there was way too many peas compared to everything else. I will not make this again.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
This was a delicious tasting Baked Ziti and very easy to prepare. The only thing I changed was how I layered my dish. I mixed the pasta sauce mixture with the noodles before layering. Than I put noodles with sauce, cheese, noodles with sauce and parmesaen cheese. This way the noodles weren't dried out and the flavoring was mixed very well throughout the ziti. I will make this again.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

I normally hate potato salad and I must say this wasn't bad. I made this for my in-laws and they all thought it was fantastic! I will def. make this again in the future!

Hot Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
This was fantastic!! So addicting. Everyone raved about this dip. Instead of ranch dressing I used blue cheese dressing, which gave it a nice zing. I served it with a thinly sliced french baguette and shredded wheat crackers. Perfect!

Chocolate Covered Cherries

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
These were much easier than I anticipated to make. I followed the directions exactly. I let them sit for over a week and they still didn't turn 100% to liquid. Maybe they aren't supposed to?? The taste was good, but I still prefer the ones from the store!

Brownie Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
This is a keeper recipe. Make sure your brownies are fully cooked before you add the cheesecake. Mine was a little under done and I figured it would finish cooking during the time the cheesecake cooked. I was wrong!! My brownie didn't cook any further, so it was a little under done. With that being said I left the chocolate chips out of the cheesecake mixture and instead sprinkled them on top. Everyone said it was DELICIOUS and looked like it was from a professional bakery!

EAGLE BRAND® Quick Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
This was extremely easy to make and turned out great. It did have a pudding flavor to it, which made it more of a sweet tasting mousse than I am used to. My husband thought it was a little too rich for him, my father thought it tasted too much like pudding, I thought it was great!

Fruit Dip II

Very very yummy! If you want a fluffier dip add more marshmallow creme. You can add up to twice as much marshmallow creme and it will still not be too sweet. As is, this recipe is still delicious!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
This was great tasting!! I used granny smith apples which were perfect. I doubled the topping (perfect amount) and left out the water. When you use granny smith apples they produce enough of their own liquid when you bake them in the oven. Adding water would have made this soupy. I cooked it in the morning and rewarmed it in the oven at 250 degrees for 10 minutes before serving. Delicious!!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
I followed the directions exactly and LOVED this marinara sauce. I made this to put over plain spaghetti. For people who like meat in their sauces, this would be a great base marinara sauce for Chicken Parmeasen or such. I only eat marinara sauce and this by far beat anything out of the jar!! If you can use fresh garlic and fresh parsley, it will make this much more flavorful.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
I added only 1/4 cup of the coconut instead of the full 1/2 cup. The people who hate coconut still said it would have tasted better without. My cake also cracked open on the top, even though I left the cake pan on it until it cooled. It is an okay recipe overall, but I think next time I will just make a one layer pinneapple upside-down cake.

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

I followed the recipe and directions exactly. My sauce came out gritty like, not very smooth. My husband didn't think it had a lot of flavor to it. I would consider making it again, but only with alterations.

Extremely delicious. It is very moist and I love the hint of the cinnamon flavor! I followed the recipe to the T and it turned out perfect! My husband and I ate the entire loaf in 1 day!! I decided to make another one for a dinner party I am throwing tonight.

Southern Moon Pies

DELICIOUS!! I made these following the recipe exactly. They turned out delicious! The only thing I would change in the future is to double the icing recipe. I love icing and this icing was delicious, I just would have loved more per moon pie. I took the extras into work and everyone started calling me Rachael Ray, which speaks for itself!! :)

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
I am not a huge soup fan, but my husband loves soups so I thought I would give this one a try. He absolutely loved it! He gave it a 10/10! I even enjoyed the soup, which is very rare for me. It is extremely easy. I did add a little more ham and a little more celery than the recipe called for. About 1/4 cup extra celery and 1/2 cup extra ham. It turned out perfect!! YUMMY!!
