I have been doing competition BBQ for 10 years now, I just love being out there with the best Q'ers in the states, although I stay local Penn. New Jersey,Maryland. I am also a certified Bbq judge.
My favorite things to cook
Outside in the smoker- Bbq pork, Boston butts and pork spare ribs.
Inside- What ever comes to mind or we are in the mood for I'll try anything once.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Pork and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and spatzel on New Years day.
My cooking triumphs
Getting any call up to the award stage I have had a few sure feels good. Having my family like something that I come up with or try new.
My cooking tragedies
As much as I love garlic it should not go in the pot with ham and cabbage, it was not very good.
