Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
I followed this recipe and added a few changes for more flavor and was not that impressed. I added fresh garlic and some sea salt and pepper. I used all organic ingredients, which are pricier and was disappointed at the result. After reading others reviews, I have to agree that the soup goes wrong with the addition of the beer. My soup had a very strong beer flavor. This is a good base for a soup, but next time I would use chicken stock and and skip the taco seasoning and use my own seasons that are more fresh. There are much better recipes out there for this type of soup.
