California Italian Wedding Soup
This was fabulous, reminded me of my Italian routes! I couldn't find the traditional pasta, so I used orzo. Will make this again and again.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup
I followed this recipe and added a few changes for more flavor and was not that impressed. I added fresh garlic and some sea salt and pepper. I used all organic ingredients, which are pricier and was disappointed at the result. After reading others reviews, I have to agree that the soup goes wrong with the addition of the beer. My soup had a very strong beer flavor. This is a good base for a soup, but next time I would use chicken stock and and skip the taco seasoning and use my own seasons that are more fresh. There are much better recipes out there for this type of soup.

Chocolate Pound Cake III
This cake is absolutely fab, but a little rich the way it is described. I didn't have 5 eggs so I used three, and instead of using 3 sticks of butter I only used 2 trying to be a little figure friendly! I baked for about an hour and a half in a gas oven at the suggested temp. My cake turned out great even with the changes. I served with chocolate sauce and raspberries. MMMM!
