Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

This is a wonderfully moist pound cake. i used almond extract instead of vanilla and it was fantastic. I served it with strawberries and vanilla ice cream for Father's Day dessert!

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Very good garlic mashed potatoes. I decreased the amount of garlic just a little and added a bit of milk as well. I decreased the recipe to 10 and still had a ton of potatoes left over!

Cheddar Beef Enchiladas

Really easy! I think a medium salsa would give them a little more kick, but we loved them. I made one pan for another family and a pan for our family out of this one recipes. I also added onion to my ground beef.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Great recipe. I used the seedless raspberry jam and chocolate cookie crust and it turned out perfect. I also followed the tips for cheesecake (water bath, keep in oven 1 hour after baking). I had a couple of crackswhere the raspberry swirles were but they were minimal and hard to see. This was a creamy cheesecake!

Delilah's Frosted Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

This was a very easy cookie to make! It rolled out fine for me. I used almond flavoring instead of vanilla in the dough and in my glaze. The glaze recipe also gets firm quickly. I made 4 batches and took them to a cookie exchange. They were a hit. I'll make this recipe again!

Hamburger Soup II

This is a great recipe! I fixed this for my family last night in just minutes and they loved it. I didn't do it in the slow cooker but just in a stock pot. I added a little garlic and basil and my husband commented again this morning about how great it was!

Baked Mashed Potatoes

These were so easy and so good! I doubled the recipe for a large family gathering. We had enough left over to feed the kids the next day and they still loved them. My husband says we should always make potatoes this way. Great recipe!

Pumpkin Bread IV

I made this recipe for muffins and mini muffins and they were wonderful! I tried a small loaf pan of bread but it seemed to get too done on top before the middle. A dense bread! Excellent for muffins....I took them to preschool for snack and kept some for home! I'll use this one again!!!!

Basil Pesto Bread

I used this recipe for New Years Eve and it was wonderful. I had already prepared Pesto and used that for some and some store bought Lemon Artichoke Pesto......they were wonderful too! Very easy, didn't take any time at all...I put them in the broiler for about 3 minutes and they were done!

Garlic Green Beans

Great recipe. I love garlic and these are wonderful. They are so easy. I used fresh green beans and cut back on the parmesan cheese a little bit...just sprinkled over the top. I've made these twice now since Christmas!!!

Brownie Biscotti

Very easy biscotti recipe. I left out the nuts and cooked about 2 minutes less on each side after slicing. I didn't have any problems with the slices breaking. Very nice flavor. I'll make these again!
