About this Cook
I'm a 33 year old guy who has spent my time between Chicago and Texas everywhere in between. So yeah I guess you couldsay that I've learned alot about human behavior. Not to mention human appetite as well.I realized I had a passion for cooking when I was about 11.Since then I have been cooking everything I can get my hands on.I actually thought about persueing a career in the culinary arts but I enjoyed it entirely too much so now it's more of a recreational hobbie.I do other stuff for fun too.I'm really big into music and body art as well.I guess you could say that I love innovation because I can get inventive when I get to really thinking about it.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking Italian and Mexican foods.I love to get creative with beef and chicken. If I can at all help it though as soon as the summer hits you will usually find me next to my weber in the backyard getting my BBQ on.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year on my brother's and father's birthdays i ask them to decide what they want for dinner and I'll cook it for them.
My cooking triumphs
My specialties are Chili and Spaghetti.I've been told that my Chili is so hot that it has cleared sinus problems.I will say that I haven't ever had any complaints about it because depending on who is attending dinner depends on the heat level.I have several recipes for my chili. And my Hearty Marinara sauce has got so much substance to it that you can't help but go back for seconds. The reason I love making these two particular meals is becasue you can get really into it when you're cutting and dicing and sauteeing and such. It's a rush that you really can't get anywhere else. It keeps you on your toes as well watching it while it slow cooks.
My cooking tragedies
My cooking tragedies include too many to name. They are all mainly the first time I try to cook anything when I was younger.I learned from my mistakes and learned how to measure by my own hand.Since then we'll say that I don't really have tragedies.
