About this Cook
I'm currently studying to become a BN, and later planning to become a Gynecologist, just want to get my foot in the door as a nurse. I play the piano, and enjoy eating out "occasionally" at the old spaghetti factory (can't go wrong there).
My favorite things to cook
Crepes with strawberries and bananas or ground beef. Yum-o Right.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Omas cooking. My family is german and brazilian so theres alot of flavor involved in all our foods. I can't cook without lots of onion and garlic.
My cooking triumphs
I baked Spaghetti and Meatballs for my inlaws and they loved it even tho it was a bland meal. The meatballs were the best part. They never had a tender meatball.
My cooking tragedies
I baked an apple cake when i was 16 and it looked absolutely amazing so i was all excited and thought I had gone pro until me and my mom tried it and i had put 1/2 Cups of salt instead of 1/2 teaspoon salt and only put 1/2 tsp sugar instead of 1/2 cups. ... oops.

Neat Sloppy Joes
The meat was really sweet. Next time I will decrease the amount of brown sugar and possibly add more vinegar. But overall, great home made recipe!

Crepes
This recipe has been in my family since the beginning of time ha ha. My Oma occasionally cooks these for dinner for the family. She'll stand in front of the stove for hours. Time consuming but oh so good. Try it with ground beef. Prepare it the way you usually do, onions, garlic, spices, and then wrap it up in a crepe and drizzle some syrup over top. TO DIE FOR! Giver a go!!
