I am a stay-home mom with a husband and two sons. I love spending time with my family. Baking is one of my FAVORITE things to do. I love it when people eat my desserts and enjoy themselves. I am more of a baker. I bake cakes mostly. I did have a time when I made cheesecakes and lots of them. Now, I make a lot of pound cakes. I often use them as gifts. My family likes to have frequent get-togethers and as you know, there is always food. I am not afraid to try new things. I am always nominated to bring the dessert. At Christmas, I love to keep busy in the kitchen. I enjoy making candy and cookies and all kinds of goodies. I have won a blue ribbon on the same cake recipe twice, once in 8th grade and just a few years ago at our County Fair. I once dropped a pound cake as I was putting it into a hot oven and spilled half of the batter all over the bottom of the oven. Boy was that a mess!!!
