About this Cook
I am married to a wonderful man who will honestly eat just about anything. I have 3 boys with big appetites that are willing to try new things, just not casseroles. As my boys have gotten older and consume a lot of food, I have really developed a love and pride in cooking for my family. I work full time and my kids are very involved in sports, so week night meals need to be quick and easy.
My favorite things to cook
I have learned to cook oriental stir-fries and everyone loves this. I love to make dessert, cookies, cakes, pies, etc. Southern sweet tea and cornbread.
My favorite family cooking traditions
For Christmas I make a prime rib and the boys always look forward to this and the change from turkey and ham. We also have Sunday dinner every week and I often try new recipes at this time.
My cooking triumphs
Learning to cook really good oriental and not having to order take-out anymore. Making sweet tea as good as my grandma does.
My cooking tragedies
Orange chicken - it was so bad we put in frozen pizza's.

Horseshoe
We had these Sunday night and they were great! This was a really fun supper. I bought a jar of Cheese Whiz and melted this for the cheese topping. Thanks for the recipe.

Scrambled Egg Muffins
My husband and 2 of my sons really liked these. Myself and my other son did not. For me it was a texture thing. The flavor was good and the concept was great. I used maple flavored sausage in these.

Cinnamon Popcorn
Very good. We had this for our movie snack Friday night. We loved the cinnamon flavor on the popcorn. Great snack!
