I tried this and it turned out really well. I'm thinking of playing around with it, trying some coconut milk or something just to mix it up. Instead of heavy cream I used some 5% cream and some condensed milk (whatever I had on hand) and it turned out just as well. Has anyone ever tried this with that frozen, already-chopped up mango you can buy at the store?

I added a bit of extra pear to this dish (because I had a few pears to use up). It turned out quite nice - a very mild taste (not overpowering). Very easy to prepare. I'd serve it for company or just for dinner with the family
