This recipe makes a wonderful thick potato soup! My only changes - I didn't use celery & I omitted the salt (wish I had omitted the chicken flavoring as well, the ham made it salty enough all on it's own). Also, I stirred in about 1/2C of shredded cheddar cheese into the milk mixture. Served it with fresh hot biscuits, a delicious meal on an icy winter day, thank you!
