About this Cook
I'm a young WAHM with 2 young children. Natalie is 20 months and Nathanael is 5 months. They're my life. I cook almost every night of the week (except left over night). I bake everything from scratch and my daughter helps.
My favorite things to cook
TACOS! I love tacos, or anything Mexican or TexMex. I love baking also. Cookies & brownies are my fave! My hubby is Puerto Rican and loves to cook too. He makes all the spanish dishes, YUM!
My favorite family cooking traditions
You don't need to waste your money on pre-made, pre-packaged, or pre-mixed it's better froom scratched. It's from the heart.
My cooking tragedies
If I'm baking something new I sometimes have to make it a few times before getting it right. Sometimes though.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)
This cake is absolutely delicious. I made this to a T and there's nothing wrong with this cake. It wasn't soggy, mushy, but I wish there was more milk at the bottom. We first had this at a Puerto Rican bakery and this one is 10000x's better. I can't wait to make it again, with coconut milk, rum or almond extract. So many possibilities.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie
The best cookie EVER! My mother isn't a dessert person and she actually craves these cookies. It's the best dessert she's ever had! They're excellent

Carrot Cake III
I LOVE THIS CAKE!!! I usually don't eat carrot cake, but I made one for my mom and I tried a piece and this is now a fav. The only thing I did was put 1/2c. applesauce and 1/2c. oil.
