Chicken Wellington Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
This was average. It was a little dry so I would suggest shredding the chicken and making a creamier mixture before stuffing the pocket. This recipe needs a few more changes but has great potential.

Yummy Eggnog Pie

Super rich! It was good but it was the only thing that didn't get finished for Christmas dinner. I probably won't make again.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

This was fair. I probably will not make it again. It tasted like a cross between a biscuit and quiche.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
This one is awesome! It's tied with the Thai Green Curry Chicken dish from this site and it is a nice little change. I will be making this again. Based on previous reviews, I hit it with a little soy sauce, fish sauce, and cashews!

Fancy Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2008
This chicken salad was pretty good. The cider vinegar and the feta cheese give it a really strong flavor. We paired it with fresh tomatoes and it was enjoyable. Probably won't make again though.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
These were the awesome-ist! I will make these forever as long as there are fresh blueberries in the house! This is definately my new favorite recipe on here! I skipped the crumb top (because I'm lazy) and sprinkled them with tons of cinnamon and sugar instead! TO DIE FOR - they ain't playin!

Blueberry Salad

This is really good! I also made it into a pie using fresh blueberries with the recipe from Strawberry Pie V. It turned out awesome and it's a very light and fresh pie to eat! I also used grape jello. I will be making this each time we go fresh blueberry picking!

Great recipe! Will make again! I used hot sausage and omitted the red pepper flakes. This was very easy!

Horseradish Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
Best deviled eggs I've ever had! I did use regular mustard as opposed to the ground mustard and it was perfect. Next time, I think I might try to add a little dill relish too.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These were good and I like that they stay good several days after you bake them. I'd rather just buy the dumb roll of cookies and not make the effort though.

Creme Brulee

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2008
I made this and it looked perfect. Following CHEFPEON's instructions, the custard's thickness was nice and the top crusted perfectly with sugar when placed in an ice bath under the broiler. However, the flavor was mediocre at best and definately lacked sweetness and vanilla. I will not be making this again.

This was really good. We will make these again. I used a can of tomato sauce and a packet of taco seasoning to replace other sauce and seasonings. It turned out really good.

Puerto Rican Tostones (Fried Plantains)

These are awesome! I didn't use any water and my plantains were green. The trick is to hit them with salt the second they come out of the oil! I will definately be making these again!

Peach Cobbler V

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
This recipe is easy and perfect! It's the best recipe I've tried on here so far! I followed the directions exactly and it was perfect. We served it warm with vanilla icecream. INCREDIBLE! ** I recommend cooking this in 8 X 8. I did this the first time and it turned out much better than using a 9 X 13.

Thai Green Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
Pretty awesome! I will make this again but I didn't think it was necessary to coat the chicken in the flour and soy. I used Thai Kitchen Green Curry Paste and the heat was definately lacking. (Update: I make this all the time and is one of the top recipes I have found on this site!)

Wild Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
My husband liked it more than I did. If I made it again, (which I won't) I would use french fried onions or ritz crackers in place of the almonds. Also, per other reviewers, I reduced the amount of broth and cream-of-whatever and it turned out pretty dry. I would follow the recipe more closely next time.
