Perfect Turkey
I was nervous to try this for my first Thanksgiving dinner and after using this recipe I will always make a turkey this way. Amazing how moist it really is! I did alter a couple of things I was concerned because my turkey had 6% saline injection so I used half water and half apple cider to soak in, I boiled water with some of the fresh herbs added cloves let it cool. My turkey was too big to turn so I opted not to and no difference it was still very moist. I put a couple slices of salt free butter under the skin on the breast. Also added fresh cranberries, apple slices and sweet potatoes to stuff it and on the outside added mushrooms - MMM this was amazing!
