These were good ..but spongy. I didn't care for the texture.

Excellent! I added a bit of onion powder & garlic powder to these (my preferance) Also had to add 1/2 cup more cornmeal to the batter for the consistancy to be correct. All and all these were Excellent! Great Basic recipe !! They are up there with Restaurant quality! My family Loved them!! I will use this recipe again and again! (maybe with some gr pepper or jalapeno!) GREAT!!

This recipe is Fantastic! The biscuits turn out fluffy inside and crispy but not hard ..outside! I goofed and added too much baking soda..(error) but it worked great!! Its an infailable ..durable recipe! That tastes great..works well especially with "pork gravy". or any other gravys! I appreciate your submission..It worked for me in a pinch..and I will use again!! (family loves it!) Suzy
