About this Cook
I am mad because I erased my first profile, and lost all the recipe's I saved! I have been a member for a while now and love this site, I am a 26 year old cookin mama who happens to also be a tattoo artist!!PS- people on this website are BRUTAL, you won't see me posting any of my recipe's, I don't want someone to shoot it down! Sheeesh!!
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE mexican food, I swear I was born in the wrong country ;-) I also LOVE good ol fashioned home country cookin (I grew up on a farm) I love the good stuff but I also eat very healthy most of the time, but I most definately believe in rewarding yourself a couple times a week =)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Hmmmm, I just love to cook for my family just like my mother and grandmother did, I have many good cooks in my family that I have always looked up to! Now my 6 year old daughter is following in my footsteps.
My cooking triumphs
I have never burned anything!!
My cooking tragedies
For some reason I usually don't have much success cooking with a crockpot believe it or not!! I am a hands on cook...

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies
These brownies are very good if you are looking for a super sweet, decadent, and dense brownie. And if you are a dark chocolate fan, they had a dark chocolate taste to me. A little too intense in sweetness and chocolate ( I know, sounds weird but it is possible) for my fam but still a good recipe for those who like their brownies the way I mentioned above.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken
recipe is great as it is! I didn't have cider vinegar on hand and had to use rice wine vinegar, I recommend not using that! It was a little too tangy. I got some cider vinegar this time =) my husband loves this and he is asian and it's really hard to find asian recipes he likes, Thank you Marian! You scored a 5 from my asian husband. PS- use the whole amount of sugar, teriyaki should be sweet =)
